Building Cooperative Futures

While Radiant Kin is currently an individual practice, it exists as the foundation for a future cooperatively owned healing space. Cooperatives are a direct alternative to exploitative, profit-driven systems. They redistribute power by being owned and governed collectively, ensuring resources and decision-making are shared rather than hoarded.

In healing spaces, this means moving away from hierarchy and burnout toward equity, mutual care, and sustainability. A cooperative model challenges capitalism’s grip on wellness by rooting care in community, accountability, and shared liberation.

A small group of clinicians has begun meeting monthly to discuss the details of forming this worker owned mental health cooperative. If you are interested in collaborating, please feel free to reach out.
